ORAL CARE TIPS

BRUSHING

Brushing is, of course, a key component to keeping things clean.  Doing this twice a day should be your goal.  An electric brush can help, though.a handheld brush can be just fine too!

SULCABRUSH

The "SULCABRUSH" is a specialized brush for those tough to reach spots, this can be a great help when used in addition to basic brushing and flossing.  It comes in different angles and helps you target those areas with a bit more precision.

FLOSSING

It really is quite hard to get in between the teeth!  Flossing is one of the best ways to do this.  Let's try to do this at least once a day.  Handflossing is great, but so are flossers if it works for you!

FLUORIDE

Fluoride is known to have an anti-cavity effect.  Regular use can help to reduce your risk of cavities.  Depending on your age and other cavity risk factors, there are different approaches to its use.

DON'T FEED THE SUGAR BUGS!

Bacteria (or "sugar bugs") play a significant role in cavities.  I recommend to try to decrease the amount of sugars, as well as the frequency and duration  that we consume these. While it may not be realistic or healthy to cut out all forms of sugars, managing them and letting the mouth rest can help!
